Original era manufacture. Khaki canvas cover with a faint US stencil on the front, makers initials L.C.C.&CO 1917, stenciled on the interior of the cover. Aluminum canteen which is maker marked L.F.&C. and dated 1918, unmarked WWI style aluminum cup.The set shows typical age and wear, in the form of staining to the cover and minor denting to the canteen, but no tears or rips in the cover.
