Original period manufacture. Standard Doughboy gasmask and carrier, fairly pliable face mask size marked 4, pliable hose, and the flutter valve is still in position! Yellow painted filter canister, no repair card or demisting can. Drawn on the reverse is tripod mounted machine gun, with 109 above MG on the sides and D below. Identified to Lt. H.W. Billman who served with Company D, 109th MG BN, 28th Division in France during WWI. Shows normal service use and wear.
