Original era manufacture. A stout leather rifle scabbard used to carry the 1903 Springfield rifle on horseback. Clear LF Co. markings with a date of 1918. The leather is sound, not flattened or crushedwith two attaching straps with two steel attaching hooks. These straps may be old replacemnts, two of the leather loops on one side have pulled through. Still quite sound for display.
