Original era letter. Two sided letter dated August 2nd 1919 from Fort Bayard New Mexico. Content informs the reader of the writers contracting Tuberculosis in France and of his cure while in hospital. Fort Bayard NM was established in 1866 and became an Army Tuberculosis Hospital in 1900 because of its excellent health record.
