Original era manufacture. Dark brown leather saddle bags with US oval on each flap. Each bag is equipped with its white canvas removable liners. The bags are quite sound for display but not for use. Some of the straps have cracks in the leather surfaces and there is some dryness along some of the edges and on the surface of the connecting yoke. Portions of the belly strap remain, that strap is most always missing. Maker marked LONG and dated 1917.
