Original era manufacture. A verysound example with a bright finished blade in original polish with clear Springfield Arsenal markings, SA,and date of 1914.Minor marring to the wood grips with original finish, thin surface crack right at the top of the pommel. No chips or missing portions of the grip, and a damage free, S-shaped brass guard.Sound leather bodied scabbard with some scuffing to the leather surface, thestitching is sound, clear Rock Island Arsenal markings on the reverse with a 1917 date. Krag style hanger.
