Original period manufacture. A very clean example featuring a standard 16 inch steel blade with a blue finish and clear Rock Island Arsenal 1917 proofs on it's ricsso. Rough hewn, dark walnut grips showing service wear and use but no cracks or chips. Mix of blue finish and steel patina on the pommel and guard. The blade is very sound, no chips or nicks in the cutting edge and the point remains sharp. Just some light finish wear towards the tip. No scabbard.
