Original period manufacture. An original WWI bayonet in sound used condition, blue finished blade with a mix of blue and steel patina remaining. Clear markings and 1917 date on the ricasso.The blade exhibits staining and light surface corrosion, with a few very shallow nicks in the cutting edge.Original wood grips which are sound and have a dark finish, lock button moves the mechanism properly.
