Original period manufacture. An original WWI bayonet in well used condition, blade finish in the bright, with clear markings and 1917 date on the ricasso.The blade exhibits staining and light surface corrosion, with a few very shallow nicks in the cutting edge. There is a very slight bend at the base of the blade.Original wood grips which are now smooth and have a varnished finish, lock button moves the mechanism slightly.
