Original period manufacture.  US M1905 bayonet, the classic service bayonet of the AEF 1917-1918. Blue steel & patina finish to the Springfield 1918 marked blade, serial number 1018041. Matching finish to the guard and pommel, with a nice pair of rough-hewn walnut grips with a gloss to the surfaces. The lock button works as it should. Nice quality original canvas covered scabbard.
