Original era manufacture. A very clean example featuring a polished steel blade showing scattered spotting and age staining. The blade is unsharpened with a slightly rounded point. Dark walnut grips with typical marring and bumping from age and use. Left side grip plate has a crack running from the guard to the screw escutcheon. Rawhide covered wooden scabbard body slips easily into the tan canvas cover. Sound leather scabbard tip with good stitching.
