Original period manufacture. Parkerized finish, 1918 dated blade made by Springfield. Most of the original finish remains intact, numerous very shallow nicks in the cutting edge. Mix of steel patina and parkerized finish on the guard and pommel.Original finish, rough-hewn walnut grips, with a chip on the left side top.USMC pattern canvas cover, with a seam on the edge and wide M1910 belt hook; black leather chape.
