Original era manufacture. Bright finished blade with smooth walnut grips. The blade presents a mottled surface but no corrosion or sharpening, the tip is slightly rounded. Clear markings and a serial number on the ricasso. The lock mechanisim works properly and the pommel and guard show a pleasing dark steel patina.
