Original period manufacture. Sixteen inch blade with a blue finish, maker marked on it's ricasso RIA 1917. Someone has made an attempt to clean the blade resulting in a scratchy surface finish and areas of cleaned steel. One nick in the cutting edge and the point remains sharp. Black plastic 1942 pattern grips in good repair, mix of steel patina and parkerized finish on the guard and pommel. Sound original finish OD plastic scabbard with the US Ordnance Bomb on the steel throat.
