Original period manufacture. Uncut, 16 inch bladed bayonet made by Springfield Armory and dated 1910. Overall steel patina finish to the blade,with a few very small nicks in the cutting edge, nice point. The guard and pommel have a matching finish surface, the lock button works properly, and there is a serial number stamped into the guard, 14517. Original pair of black plastic grips showing surface wear, no cracks or chips.Very nice original finish OD plastic scabbard with an Ordnance Bomb proofed steel scabbard throat.
