Original period manufacture. Uncut, 16 inch bladed bayonet made by Springfield Armory and dated 1907. Overall steel patina finish to the blade showing age spotting and staining, with a few very small nicks in the cutting edge, decent point. The guard and pommel have a matching finish surface, the lock button works properly. Original pair of black plastic grips showing surface wear, no cracks or chips.Very nice original finish OD plastic scabbard with an Ordnance Bomb proofed steel scabbard throat.
