Original era manufacture. Bright finished blade which is 1917 dated and maker marked Plumb Philadelphia. There are scattered areas of cleaned corrosion, but basically the metal remains in its original polish, with a sharp point, and unsharpened, or otherwise damaged edge.Intact, original wooden grips secured with three brass rivets and a brass pommel cap. No cracks or chips in the wood surface, one grip is aged darker than the other. Original heavy brown leather scabbard which is dated 1918. It is generally sound, however there is a three inch split in the side of the scabbard below the throat. The blade can be inserted and removed easily from the scabbard.
