Original era manufacture. This is the model that likely saw the most service in WWI. Quite similar in design to the later model 1917, the 1910 boasts a higher level of finish, a lock button on the top of its grip and US Ordnace & SA (Springfield Arsenal) markings and date on its ricasso. This example is well used but complete. The blade displays a smooth steel patina surface with its proper outline intact and dated 1911 on the reverse ricasso. Decent wood grips and the lock button works properly. Correct pattern scabbard with the catch on the top of the scabbard throat. No holes or tears in the canvas covering and the leather tip is sound.
