Original period manufacture. A sound example exhibiting normal wear, with scattered areas of staining, but with strong colors remaining; just a little dingy. Clear stenciled markings, maker marked and dated RIA 1918 on the reverse. Inked naming to U. Hentrich C.A.C. Panama. Complete with meatcan pouch but no pack extender. On interest, the securing springs of the two rearmost front attaching spings have been removed, perhaps done to help with the removal of the pack in wear.
