Original period manufacture. Khaki canvas construction complete, with its meatcan pouch and pack extender. The original markings are clear, all of the metal fittings are present, and the canvas is free of dry-rot. Maker marked on the pack externder, LONG 18. It looks as if it might have been laundered at some point in the past, however the colors remain strong. One of the oddest contraptions ever foisted upon the American Infantryman.
