Original period manufacture. Khaki canvas construction, complete with its meatcan pouch. The markings are clear, 338th Artillery, Battery F, 55th Man, with matching markings on the meatcan pouch and pack body; all of the metal fittings are present, and the canvas is free of dry-rot. Clear PB & Co. 1917 markings under the flap, no pack extender.
