Original era manufacture. A very clean example made by Springfield Armory in 1917.  The lock mechanism was never installed but the cut-out in the top of the grip is present. Standard rough hewn wood grips with a thin crack on the right side grip panel. Very clean blade with a dark finish. Near new condition OD painted metal scabbard with a leather M1910 belt hook support, marked US LF&C 1918.
