Original period manufacture. A very clean example displaying a 35 inch, polished steel blade, running straight and true. The blade is clean with a touch of scattered age staining and a few small bumps in the cutting edge more felt than seen. The black leather bumper is intact, black painted steel guard and pommel with black plasticmolded grips.Standard pattern canvas covered scabbard with a dark green finished tip and throat. Last pattern of the US Cavalry sabre and often referred to as the Patton model.
