Original period manufacture. Full length example of this large pattern sword, last model issued to the US Cavalry. The blade is quite clean, no issues and runs straight and true,the tip being slightly rounded. Dark finished steel guard withblack plastic grips.Steel scabbard with two carrying rings at the throat, original surface finishin good repair, canvas covered wooden scabbard body.
