Original period manufacture. A full length example of this large pattern sword, of a model being the last pattern sword issued to the US Cavalry. The blade is clean, no issues and runs fairly straight and true, with a few scattered "nail catchers" scattered over its edges. Original finish steel guard with sound black plastic grips. Original dark OD painted canvas covered wooden scabbard with two carrying rings at the throat, original surface finish in good condition.
