Original period manufacture. A full length example of this large pattern sword, being the last pattern sword issued to the US Cavalry. The blade runs fairly straight, with an even steel patina finish to the surface. L.F.&C makers name and a date of 1919. Original finish steel guard with sound black plastic grips, minor surface denting to the guard.. Dark OD painted canvas covered wooden scabbard with two carrying rings at the throat, and on one side two splotches of garage paint.
