Original period manufacture. First year production, full length example of this large pattern sword, this being the last model sword issued to the US Cavalry. The blade is clean, no issues and runs fairly straight and true, with a slight drift to the right along it's length. Dark finished steel guard with black plastic grips. Canvas covered wooden scabbard with two carrying rings at the throat, original surface finish in good condition
