riginal era manufacture. Standard pattern US M1917 bayonet, in very clean originalcondition. Most of the original parkerized finish to the blade, to include the blue finish band at the ricasso. No sharpening, clear makers and issue marks, and a very sharp tip.Blue finish to the guard and pommel with a slight amount of finish wear to the edges. Original finish wood grips in undamaged condition.Original finish 2nd pattern scabbard with an Army overpainted painted leather body, to include the scabbard throat and chape. The paint shows wear and chipping to the surface, revealing the original finish below. Leather body is sound with no issues.
