Original era manufacture. A very clean example of this US Great War bayonet. Two tone blade with some scattered speckling from oil or grease. The blade has not been sharpened and the tip is sharp. Lots of blue remaining on the pommel and guard, with very walnut grips. One of the grip screws has been rounded a bit so the grips may have been replaced. Green painted leather scabbard body and blue steel finished tip and scabbard throat. Some of the stitching has loosened a bit on the leather tab which holds the belt hook in place but nothing serious. A very nice example overall.
