Original era manufacture. A sound example with evidence of an old cleaning to the blade, lightly sharpened on the cutting edge for service use,  clear Remington markings and dated 1917. Dark finished guard and pommel, sound original finish wooden grips. Original finish green leather scabbard body with metal throat and chape. Sound old bayonet.
