Original era manufacture. A fine example with most of the original finish remaining on the blade with clear Remington markings, and dated 1917. no nicks in the cutting edge and the point is quite sharp.Blue finish to the guard and pommel with an operable lock button. Original finish wood grips in very clean condition.Original paint finish on the leather scabbard body, with a M1910 belt hook attached to the scabbard throat. Mix of steel patina and very light surface corrosion to the metal fittings. Clear JEWEL 1918 stamp on the reverse side of the scabbard next to the stitching.
