Original era manufacture. A nice example of the under appreciated US M1917 service bayonet and scabbard. Remington manufacture, all metal components show a dark parkerized finish, original finish wooden grips, with a very clean leather and metal scabbard. There is a thin crack in the left side grip plate just back of the guard, otherwise sound. Mix of original finish and steel patina on the scabbard fittings.
