Original era manufacture. A clean example of the US M1917 service bayonet and scabbard. Remington manufacture, showing original two-tone finish on the blade, with a distinct band of blue on the base. Mix of blue and steel patina finish to the guard and pommel. Original finish, rough hewn wood grips showing typical marring and denting from time and service use. Green painted leather bodied scabbard, with steel throat and chape.
