Original era manufacture. A very nice example featuring a steel patina finished blade with a faded blue finish band at the ricasso. The bladeis very sound, no issues as regards to edge nicks or other damage. W in a circle logo for Winchester production. Blue finished guard and pommel with finish wear to the edges, very nice original finish walnut grips Sound, second pattern leather bodied scabbard in original finish, and maker marked Jewell 1918. Blue finished steel scabbard throat and chape, with just a touch of surface corrosion on the lower fitting.
