Original era manufacture. A clean example featuring a parkerized finished blade, with a sharp point and nick free cutting edge. W in a circle logo for Winchester production on the ricasso, and another Winchester stamp on the left side grip plate.Blue finished guard and pommel with finish wear to the edges, very sound original, dark finish walnut grips Sound, 1st pattern leather bodied scabbard in original finish. Blue finished steel scabbard throat and chape, scuff on the leather surface as shown. For some reason the belt hook and mounting point were removed, right down to the surface of the scabbard throat. Why? They did a good job at least.
