Original era manufacture. A standard pattern example of this popular AEF sidearm, with this one used in WWII. The blade displays an even patina finish, with minimal wear to the parkerized finish with no issues. Very sound, rough-hewn walnut grips displaying normal age and wear. Stenciled onto the reverse of the scabbard is the following; G-4020, ANTONE GOMES, 31454020. Possibly enough here for a little research project.
