Original era manufacture. A standard pattern example of this popular AEF sidearm. The blade displays an even patina finish, with a mix of parkerized finish and steel patina. Matching finish to the guard and pommel, with sound rough hewn walnut grips. Khaki canvas cover with a leather reinforced tip, which displays the date 1918. The cover slips off easily, displaying the rawhide covered wooden scabbard body inside.
