Original era manufacture. Clear markings on the ricasso, Plumb, St Louis 1918, and U.S.MOD1917.C.T.The blade displays a steel patina finish, with traces of the original finish remaining in spots; heavy corrresion on both sides of the point. Sound roughhewn wood grips, with a spot of garage paint on one side, steel patina finish to the guard and pommel.Sound condition canvas covered wooden scabbard, with a 1918 date on the leather chape. Overall it exhibits honest service use and wear.
