Original era manufacture. Clear markings on the ricasso, Plumb, St Louis 1918, and U.S.MOD1917.C.T.The blade retains nearly all of its original finish remaining, with an area of cleaned corrosion on one side of the blade. Very sound rough-hewn wood grips, with original finish to the guard and pommel.Sound condition canvas covered wooden scabbard, with a 1917 date on the leather chape. Overall it exhibits honest service use and wear.
