Original period manufacture. Standard, US made, M1917 Brodie pattern helmet witha rather unique looking period applied camo finish to the exterior. At the front of the helmet is the 3rd Army insignia and at the rear of the helmet, France & Germany have been painted.The liner is complete as is the chinstrap, howeverthe attaching staple which secures one end of the strap to its helmet loop has been pulled through. The strap is not broken, it just needs a new staple or wire installed to keep it secure.
