Original era manufacture. Standard, US made Doughboy helmet of WWI, this example bears the hand stenciled markings of the 35th Infantry Division, being a variant of the 137th Infantry Brigade. The helmet displays honest service use, with the exterior being stained from mud, and scattered shallow denting. The liner is intact, with a partial chinstrap. No visible date under the oilcloth liner.
