Original era manufacture. Standard, US made Doughboy helmet of WWI, clean shell with original rough finish, intact original liner with remnants of the adjusting instructions tag. Partial original chinstrap. Santa Fe Cross divisional insignia on two sides for possibly the 137th Infantry Regiment. This division suffered the loss of 7,296 casualties, future President Harry S. Truman served in the Santa Fe Division.
