Original era manufacture. Standard, US made Doughboy helmet of WWI, clean shell with original rough finish, intact original liner with adjusting tag instructions, maker marked R.H. LONG 17 on the underside of the oilcloth. Dry, but complete, leather chinstrap which has a repaired break in one section of the strap.
