Original era manufacture. Standard, US made Doughboy helmet of WWI, displaying honest service use and wear. Rough texture finish, most of the liner remains except for the netting and a partial instruction tag. Pliable leather, unbroken chinstrap. A makers inkstamp and size 7 1/2 is stamped on the underside of the oilcloth.
