Original era manufacture. Standard M1917 US made steel helmet which was produced with the three holes on each side of the rim which allowed the attachment of the experimental Wilmer Eyeshield. Handpainted 91st Division emblem on the front of the helmet.The helmet does not have a liner, however the original chinstrap is in place, with a partial adjusting instruction tag in the crown. Rough combat finish exterior, with scattered areas of surface corrosion.
