Original era manufacture. Flange guard pattern M1917 Trench Knife maker marked AC.Co.USA 1917 on the inside of the guard. The guard and pommel have been cleaned, displaying now a steel patina finish with scattered staining. The 9 inch triangular blade retains a good deal of its original blue finish, with runner wear visible on the blade panels. Green painted leather bodied scabbard with all brass securing rivets in place.
