Original era manufacture. A very sound example of this famous knife, made by one of the less common makers, and with the distinctive "flange guard". Triangular shaped blade, slightly shortened, measuring just under 9 inches in length. Original blue finish, of which about 70% remains. Light scratching and runner wear to the surface, no corrosion issues.Mix of blue and light surface corrosion to the guard, most of surface corrosion can be easily cleaned away. Sound dark wood finish grip, no chips or cracks, just minor marring from service use.Jewell marked and 1918 dated green painted leather scabbard, with a dark finish to the chape and throat. One of the brass securing brads is missing from the scabbard tip. The possession of these knives in some states/countries is prohibited.
