Original period manufacture. A complete example with most of its original factory finish remaining. Nine inch triangular shaped blade with a very sharp tip, steel guard with 6 pyramid shaped protrusions on the knuckle bow. Very light surface corrosion, easily cleaned away. Original finish wood grip showing some typical scratching and denting from service use.  Dark green leather bodied scabbard with matching patina to the throat and tip. 1918 dated near the stitch line.The knife is complete, and clearly marked L.F.&C on the guard.
