Original period manufacture. A complete example with most of its original factory finish remaining on the 9 inch, triangular blade.  The guard retains most of its original finish and is maker marked U.S. LF&C 1917 on the top side. Original finish wood grip showing some typical scratching and denting from service use, no cracks or chips. Dark green leather bodied scabbard with scuffing to the surface, original finish on the guard and chape, with all securing rivets in place. Maker marked and dated Jewell 1918.
