Original period manufacture. A complete examplewithmostof its original factory finish remaining on the9 inch, triangular blade.The guard retains most of its original finish and is maker marked U.S. LF&C 1917 on the top side. Original finish wood grip showing sometypical scratching and denting from service use, no cracks or chips.Dark greenleather bodied scabbard with scuffing to the surface, original finish on the guard and chape, with all securing rivets in place. Maker marked and dated Jewell 1918.
